Hey guys, my first journal in a while now. Uni's been keeping me kinda busy, although I think I've got things pretty much in order now. My course has been epic so far, but then what course that gets you to watch films and discuss them could not be epic? Anyway, there have been a couple of memes circling journals recently, so I thought I'd give them a go.

1. If I could have a superpower I'd want to see into the future. I still have no idea why, but it's always been my top choice.
2. I prefer to sing male parts in most songs/duets/musicals, simply because alto women almost never get decent songs.
3. I'm currently posting a chapter by chapter review blog for House of Leaves. It's quite frustrating, because I really want to continue reading despite the fact that there's a reason I restricted myself.

6. I'm not an easy person to get to know. I'm usually the one that will sit in the corner and stare at you after we've been introduced, only smiling at you after a couple of months or so.

Hey guys, my first journal entry at university. So far so good, I'm a few days away from the end of fresher's week and the beginning of my lectures (which I'm looking forward to). Met some new people and I'm beginning to settle in to my accommodation. All I need are some clubs and a job and I'm sorted.

1) First list all your OCs by first name so we can see your list of all your wonderful OCs:
1. Akane
2. Shaoqing
3. Cillian
4. Gio (short for Giovanni)
5. Merla
6. Chloe
7. Valentina
8. Amethyst
2) Who is your favourite OC?
Amethyst will always have a spot close to my heart, but I'd say that Cillian and Gio are probably up there at the top of my list.
3) Who is your least favourite?
Don't know.
4) Who is your most developed?
They're all pretty developed, but Amethyst has been undergoing near-constant updating for about 5-6 years now.
5) Which OC would you want to date if they magically came to life?
ALready spoken for. I imagine I would get on well with all of them.
6) How many girl OCs do you have? Boy OCs? It OCs?
5 girls: Akane, Merla, Chloe, Valentina and Amethyst. 3 boys: Shoaqing, Cillian and Gio.
7) If you were stuck in a burning building what do you think the third OC on your list would do?
Cillian is somewhat delicate, so I imagine that I would end up rescuing him. Much to his displeasure.
8) Name one thing you regret about one of your OCs.
I'd ideally like them to be happier, but then there's not much point writing about someone who's happy and contented (unless that content feeling is based on a pack of lies, but that's just mean.)
9) Which of your OCs do you think would make the best father/mother/it parent out of all your OCs and why?
Now that's a tough one. Probably Shaoqing or Akane, as they don't have so many deep-rooted psychological issues compared to the other 6. That and Valentina is already deceased, which is a bit of a hindrance.
10) Which of your OCs do you think will most likely be put in jail?
Amethyst, as the only pyro out of them.
11) The eighth of your OCs was put into the future! What will their job be?!?
Amethyst would probably be a soldier. It's the only thing she really knows to be honest, though it's something she does very well.
12) Name the first OCs catch phrase!
Akane's catchphrase...........she doesn't really have one.
13) Do all your OCs live together or are they separated?
The first six live together for fairly long stretches of time, Valentina has been dead for a while and Amethyst lives on a different plane of existence entirely (although she does occasionally come down to visit).
14) Are there any pairings that are in your OC list? (they can't be with someone else's)
There are no pairings as such (yet), but there are quite close friendships between Akane and Merla, Shaoqing and Chloe, and Cillian and Gio.
15) Your seventh OC switched bodies with you for a day! How will they react at the end of the day?
Valentina in my body? She'd probably have a ball (unless the depression carries over, in which case I have a real problem). I dread to think what my psyche would look like after a day in a corpse.
16) Your last OC just became a fifteen year old. What do they do?
Depends on your timescale. By her "years" that's only a little while ago, so she'd probably just get more moody. By our years, she'd be a baby, so not much.
17) Now randomly select a person on your OC list. Who was it?
Merla.
18) That OC you just chose? Yeah they think they are superman (even if they are a girl) and are on the roof about to jump off.

19) Are any of your OCs bored of this meme?
Amethyst is looking to be a bit antsy.
20) Would your second OC prefer the beach or the mountains?
I don't think Shaoqing would prefer either of them to be honest. *shrugs* He's more a city boy.

Merla? Hell no, she'd do the smart thing and swim away.
22) Which OCs hate each other?
There are some tensions between Shaoqing and Cillian, and Akane and Gio, but both are one-sided and nowhere near hate level.

Amethyst first, and Valentina last (if I remember correctly).

If Valentina were still alive, Amethyst by a long shot. In Valentina's current state, it's a bit of a non-event.

All are average or slim builds, apart from Shaoqing, who's pretty well-built.
27) What are your first 2 OC's favourite foods?
Akane likes strawberries and Shaoqing likes duck.
28) If your listed OCs were in a fight to the death, who would emerge victorious?
Amethyst, unless someone got in a very lucky shot, as she is to all intents and purposes immortal.
29) There's a zombie attack and your OCs are stranded. Who do they elect to be their leader?
While Amethyst would have the advantage in battle, she's not too good with strategy and/or restraint. Chloe is good at managing people, so she'd probably be the better leader.
30) During said zombie attack, who's the first to die?
Either Akane or Cillian. Akane because she's a bit on the reckless side, Cillian because he tires easily.
31) Which one of these OCs do you think would have the most fangirls/boys?
Not sure. Probably Merla, Cillian and Gio. The first because she's cute and plays it up. The other two because of the yaoi potential.
32) Okay, so does OC number four have any last thoughts?

Akane: Small

I tend to have my OCs be bisexual by default. The exceptions in this case are Shaoqing and Chloe who are straight, and Gio who is openly gay.
38. What would happen if OC 2 and 3 met each other?
Cillian and Shaoqing have been best friends since they were tiny, so there's a certain amount of cameraderie and affection, but they tend to act in an understated way.

Amethyst: Female, not that it really matters much.
2) What is your age?
Amethyst: Depends which perspective you look at it from. For humans, I'm about 164. For me, I'm just coming up to 20.
3) Do you want a hug?
Amethyst: No, not really. First, that's a sign of great familiarity. Second, I'm not a huggy person.
4) Do you have any bad habits?
Amethyst: Many. Where would you like to start?
5) What is your favorite food?
Amethyst: I'm rather fond of dark chocolate and most spices.
6) What is your favourite ice cream flavor?
Amethyst: Ice cream is too cold for me.

I'm afraid my race aren't known for their, how shall I put it, purity.
